A group of South African church leaders who visited Zimbabwe for two days this week said on their return that Harare’s so-called Operation Murambatsvina, or “Drive Out Rubbish,” is inhumane and has created a tragic humanitarian crisis.
As the clerics briefed reporters on their trip at the Johannesburg airport, another South African delegation including top government officials headed for Harare.
