A senior Rusape police officer allegedly assaults an MDC official as the opposition plans an anti-Mugabe demonstration set for tomorrow, Friday, in the area. Anti-riot police have blocked opposition figures from entering police station.

The Cancer Association of Zimbabwe says more women in the country are being given free breast cancer screening as the world marks breast cancer awareness month. Women who spoke with the VOA said they are grateful for the program as healthcare is generally expensive in Zimbabwe.
