Former Vice President Joice Mujuru says President Robert Mugabe did not give him a chance to explain over allegations that she wanted to topple him.
In this second edition of an exclusive interview with Studio 7’s Blessing Zulu, Mrs. Mujuru says she sought an audience with the president, who appeared to understand what she was talking about only to be surprised by Mr. Mugabe’s public outburst on these allegations.
She further says the ruling party has been seriously infiltrated by new comers, whose agenda is to take control of the party ahead of the 2018 general elections.
Mrs. Mujuru tells Zulu that despite her being persecuted by her own party, she has strong links with the Zimbabwe Defense Forces chiefs.
