“On behalf of our membership, we hereby bring to your attention that doctors nationwide have agreed to engage into an industrial action as result of severe incapacitation and inability to withstand the current disabling working environment.
"Zimbabweans are suffering. The country has no fuel. When we united against Mugabe. We did not expect this (crisis). Our lives are worse off. We are not going to fight Mr. Mnangagwa with guns because we do not believe in guns."
Since the July 30 election which many had hoped would lay the foundations for an economic recovery, Zimbabweans have seen inflation race into double digits due to shortages of basic goods, all blamed on an underlying lack of dollars to pay for those goods.
“Since Mnangagwa took over power in a military coup last November he has made countless promises which today, one year on, is turning out to be nothing but a cocktail of lies. He promised to stabilise the economy in 100 days but today the economy is now worse off than what it was then."
