WASHINGTON DC —
For many years, many had regarded Zanu-PF as an impenetrable party, due to the loyalty many showed to President Robert Mugabe.
However, following the purges leading up to the congress and beyond, that code of silence seems to be slowly cracking.
Former loyalists like Vice President Joice Mujuru, former party spokesperson Rugare Gumbo and secretary of administration Didymus Mutasa, while insistent in the past about their unshaken love for the president, now paint him as a liar, and also power-monger.
