Zimbabwe’s parliamentary Speaker Jacob Mudenda is expected to rule on a dispute between the two opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) formations over the status of some Members of Parliament and Senators who the MDC led by Morgan Tsvangirai wants expelled from the house.

MDC-T secretary general, Douglas Mwonzora, confirmed that his formation had relaunched its bid to have the MPs recalled after Mudenda initially refused to rule on the matter last year.

The recall has generated a lot of attention in the country as the MDC-T has said it will not participate in by-elections until electoral reforms are implemented.
