Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League Promises to Tackle Hooliganism

Premier Soccer League chief executive, Kennedy Ndebele, says all is ready for the 2015 season which kicks off next Saturday.

Ndebele told VOA Studio 7 they expect a competitive season though everyone is worried about soccer hooliganism.

Some Caps United players were recently attacked by some people believed to be Highlanders fans following a match at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo after the club lost in the semi-finals of the Bob 91 Cup.

The Cup is named after President Robert Mugabe, who recently turned 91 and has ruled the country for more than 34 years.
