Dethroned Miss Zimbabwe, Emily Kachote, whose nude pictures were allegedly leaked on social media, says she never posed for such photographs.
Kachote, who is the second person to be sacked after similar pictures of Thabiso Phiri were also leaked soon after she won the Miss Zimbabwe crown, told VOA Studio 7 it’s untrue that she has given her former handlers various versions of what really transpired.
“One thing that I would tell you is that I did not give three different answers. According to them, they chose to believe what they wanted to believe or what would work for them. The truth is like I said before and I would say it now, I never posed for anyone nude. If there is a picture of me out there them I am the victim,” she said.
Kachote said she got tremendous support from her family and friends following the so-called leaking of her nude photographs and subsequent sacking.
Miss Zimbabwe organizers claim that nude pictures circulated on social media are believed to be Kachote’s pictures.
The previous Miss Zimbabwe, Phiri, also faced the same problem resulting in her losing the coveted crown. Pictures of nude celebrities worldwide have been leaked on social media and other platforms by former lovers and rivals.
