Zimbabwean striker Benjani Mwaruwari will be on a loan transfer from Manchester City to Sunderland until the end of the season
Zimbabwe Warriors Captain Benjani Mwaruwari has been transferred on loan from Britain's Manchester City to the Sunderland Football Club in a deal that should give Mwariwari more playing time on the field, sources said.
Former Warriors coach Charles Mhlauri told VOA reporter Marvellous Nyahuye that the move is a good one for Mwaruwari.
The 31-year-old striker is expected to increase the firepower of the Sunderland Black Cats. Sunderland is currently in 13th place in the 20-team premiership with 24 points from 23 games.
