Zimbabwe's national soccer team, the Warriors, beat the Malawi Flames by a score of 2-1 in a friendly match at Rufaro stadium Wednesday afternoon.
Both of the Warriors' goals were scored by Tafadzwa Rusike during the first half of the match.
Malawi was using the friendly match to tune up for a face-off with Mozambique next week in the first round of the African Nations Championships.
Warriors fan Fabian Mahembe told VOA Studio 7 reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye that he was impressed by the Warriors performance.
