Court orders Police Commissioner Chihuri and the home affairs minister to compensate a Chingwizi victim for wrongful arrest and pain. Thousands of people were displaced by floods in Masvingo almost two years ago but they have not been properly resettled by the government due to lack of funds.

Bulawayo residents are staging street protests over moves by the local authority to force locals to install water meters. The residents and non-governmental organizations argue that water is a right that should not be sold.
