WASHINGTON DC —
The late Nancy Tinoza’s body was expected late Friday evening to be handed over to family members at the Harare International Airport ahead of her burial in the city Sunday.
Morgan Tinoza, a brother of the late United States Students’ Achievers Program (USAP) graduate told VOA Studio 7 the family was relieved that Zimbabweans helped in ensuring that her body was repatriated back home for burial.
Nancy Tinoza died in a road traffic accident in America a few days ago. Friends and relatives raised about $21,000 for ferrying her body to Zimbabwe on a crowd funding application – youcaring.com.
About $28,000 was raised using the same platform for the other former USAP student, the late Morlene Tariro Magoronga, who also died in America almost at the same time.
Her family was not reachable for comment on burial arrangements.
