FIFA’s executive committee will meet this week in Zurich, Switzerland, to to vote on Canada’s bid.

Reports said Zimbabwe withdrew because it felt that its infrastructure was underdeveloped and would not meet stringent FIFA condition.

Canada plans to host the men's under-20 World Cup in 2014 as a test event if it succeeds in locking up the rights to host the women's 2015 World Cup.
