Zimbabwe’s cricket team hopes to redeem itself on Friday in a closing one-day international match against South Africa though it lost the series by eight wickets with Sunday’s defeat at Senwes Park.

Grant Flower posted 22 runs, Craig Ervine 27 and Keith Dabengwa 28 runs, though the team fell short.

Zimbabwe Cricket spokesman Jeffrey Murimbechi told VOA Studio 7 reporter, Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye that while the Proteas locked up the series, the Zimbabweans hope to show off individual talent in the dead-rubber match.
