Relegation threatened Shabanie Mine have offered their players huge incentives for a win over current league champions, Dynamos.

The modest Zvishavane side have offered their players $500 each if they manage to beat league leaders Dynamos in their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter set for Rufaro Stadium on Wednesday.

Under normal circumstances, Shabanie pays its players $100 for a win.

Club sponsor, Jockonia Mpofu, says the players will be paid the incentives soon after the game.

The Harare businessman says he knows that a defeat by Dynamos would put them deeper into the relegation zone, adding that they want to avoid such a slot.

Shabanie are in 10th position with 33 points from 26 games. They are just three points above Black Rhinos who occupy the fourth relegation position.

Dynamos, on the other hand, are on top of the table with 48 points. But they too cannot afford to lose the game as they are equal on points with Harare City, who are favourites to beat already relegated Motor Action.

Dynamos are also under threat from third-placed Highlanders who have 47 points but have home advantage against Triangle in the next encounter.

The league title winners get $70,000 and represent Zimbabwe in the CAF Champions League.
