A senior official of the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions said Friday that the federation is not in financial difficulties, dismissing a report in the state-controlled Herald newspaper that its coffers have run dry.
ZCTU Deputy Secretary General Japhet Moyo admitted the organization faces some challenges due to the economic environment. But he told VOA Studio 7 reporter Brenda Moyo such problems won't halt the union's work.
The ZCTU is the largest labor organization in Zimbabwe.
