President Mugabe dispels suggestions that his wife, Grace, wants to succeed him saying Zanu PF activists jostling for his position should stop it.

Former Vice President Joice Mujuru claims that President Mugabe wants to establish a political dynasty in Zimbabwe.

Some Zimbabweans have commended U.S president Barack Obama for extending targeted sanctions imposed on President Robert Mugabe and his inner circle, noting that local people are still not allowed to exercise their democratic rights by the ruling Zanu PF party.

We will take a closer look at the impact of these targeted sanctions following suggestions by critics that they are not effective.

The United States has provided an additional $10 million in response to the worsening food situation in Zimbabwe.
