Dynamos wants to be competing alongside Gunners in the Confederation of African Football's Champion's League next year

Bested this year by Premier Soccer League title winner Gunners, Zimbabwe's Dynamos Football Club has set its cap at second place which would allow it to contend in the 2010 Confederation Of American Football Champions League.

The continental football league recently announced it will admit two teams from each national premiership to play in the Champions tourney.

Gunners defeated Dynamos 2-0 on Sunday to clinch the PSL title. Dynamos has one more match to defend second place against Caps United in third.

Some sports commentators blame discord in Dynamos's management as one of the reasons why the team fell short of the title this year.

But Dynamos says that while it is disappointed to lose, it was pleased to see Gunners claim the title as many of its players were groomed by Dynamos and the team is coached by a former Dynamos player, Moses Chunga.

Dynamos Secretary General Stan Kasukuwere told VOA Studio 7 reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye his team will fight hard for second place.
