Dembare are now four points behind the Game Cocks that have 49 points from 24 games.

Dynamos Football Club beat log leaders Chicken Inn 1-0 at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday as fading giants, Highlanders, were walloped 3-1 by Caps United in Harare to register another heavy loss in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

According to state-controlled and private media reports, Dembare are now four points behind the Game Cocks that have 49 points from 24 games. The defending league champions share the same points with FC Platinum, who are second on the league table due to a 12-point superior goal difference.

On the other hand, Bosso are still 10th on the league table with 28 points from the same number of games. New club gaffer, Amin Soma Phiri and his assistants, appear to be struggling to revive the Bulawayo giants that fired head coach Bongani Mafu and his technical staff a few weeks ago.

Mafu is now leading rural boys, Tsholotsho, who settled for a 0-0 draw with FC Platinum on Sunday.

Tsholotsho FC, Whawha, Flame Lily and Dongo FC are fighting relegation with the latter anchoring the 16-team league table followed by Flame Lilly.

The other week 24 results were as follows: Chapungu 4, Buffaloes 1; Dongo FC 0, Hwange 1; Flame Lilly 0, ZPC Kariba 1; Whawha 0, How Mine 0; Harare City 0, Triangle 0.
