Warming Relations Between Zimbabwe and S. African Cricket Establishments

More cordial relations between the cricket establishments in Zimbabwe and South Africa have returned with the news that the two teams will play their first international matches since 2005 on Nov. 8 in Benoni and Nov. 10 in Centurion, South Africa.

Zimbabwe Cricket Media and Communication Chief Shingai Rhuhwaya told VOA Studio 7 reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye that the scheduling of the internationals signals an improvement in relations between the two countries.

In soccer news, Zimbabwe is to face Botswana on Monday in Bulawayo in the quarter finals of the 2009 Cosafa Senior Challenge Cup following Botswana's 2-0 victory over the Seychelles Thursday. Elsewhere, Swaziland beat Comoros three goals to none.
