Battered Zimbabwe Cricket Team Stands to Rebound as Former Players Return

The return of former Zimbabwe Cricket players is boosting the team's professionalism, says its captain, Prosper Utseya, named Cricketer of the Year this week.

Players set to return include Trevor Gripper and Barney Rogers, two of the so-called "rebels" who walked out on the team five years ago. Other players believed to be negotiating with Zimbabwe Cricket for a return are Doug Marillier and Campbell Macmillan.

Utseya tells reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that the return of such players bodes well for the national team prospects.
