Zimbabwe Footballer Sweswe Credits Higher Power for Kaiser Chiefs Deal

Zimbabwe Warriors defender Thomas Sweswe leaves Zimbabwe and Dynamos Football Club on Friday to join his new South African employer, Kaizer Chiefs Football Club, which has signed him to a three year contract on undisclosed financial terms.

The midfield defender will help Kaiser Chiefs mount a “water-tight” defense, team coach Bobby Motaung told reporters in Johannesburg this week.

Sweswe, whose Facebook page thanks God for bringing the deal about, tells VOA reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye that hard work and perseverance also played a role.
