Zimbabwe Sevens Rugby Team Steps Up Preps For Zambia Tournament


Zimbabwe's rugby Sevens side, the Cheetahs, has called in three foreign-based players to bolster the team for the Castle Sevens rugby tourney in Lusaka, Zambia this week-end.

Team manager Bruce Hobson tells reporter Marvellous Mhlanga Nyahuye that his team is training at Old Georgians and leaves Friday for the tournament.

The Zimbabwe Rugby Union is sending three senior teams including the Goshawks a developmental side and a second string side and the women's side, most of the focus will be on the Cheetahs.

The Cheetahs ara also preparing for one of the top African Sevens tournments - the Tuskers Seven - in Keny next week-end.
