Zimbabwe Warriors defensive midfielder Cephas Chimedza says the Zimbabwe Football Association or ZIFA needs overhauling to bring it into line with other soccer associations internationally if Zimbabwean teams are to succeed on the world stage.
The Warriors, Zimbabwe's national soccer team, failed to qualify for the African Cup Of Nations in 2008 and fell short again for the tournament coming up in 2010. Zimbabwe also failed to qualify for the World Cup of Football taking place in South Africa next year.
Chimedza tells reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that the country has talent but lacks the leadership and support system its players need.
