Zimbabwe Cricket Takes Steps To Comply With ICC Recommendations


Zimbabwe Cricket has appointed former opening batsman Andy Waller coaching manager - in effect taking to heart advice received this week from the International Cricket Council, which recommended that the national cricket establishment set its house in better order.

Waller will supervise domestic coaching and set up performance centers around the country.

Cricket analyst Brian Goredema told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye the appointment should bolster the professionalism of domestic leagues in line with ICC recommendations to Zimbabwe Cricket on how to speed its return to the international test circuit.
