Zimbabwe soccer's Nestle Charity Shield tournament has received an injection of Z$190 (US$30,000) billion from Nestle Zimbabwe, sponsor of the cup.
The tournament will be played between Dynamos, the reigning Premier Soccer League champions, and runners-up Higlanders next month.
The first match in the series will be played at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo, home of Highlanders, with the finals at Gwanzura Stadium, Harare.
Sports commentator Michael Kariati told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye that the tournament will help the teams shape up for regional play in February.
