American Responds to 'Forgotten Voices' Of Zimbabwe Aids Orphans

A Pennsylvania man has been helping to treat, shelter and educate Zimbabwean children orphaned by that country's devastating AIDS pandemic.

Forgotten Voices International President Ryan Keith was on track to attend graduate school at Harvard University when he visited Zimbabwe in 2003 and stepped off his career path to help AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children there.

Voices International has joined forces with church groups including the Brethren in Christ Zimbabwe National AIDS Clinic at Mtshabezi Mission in Bulawayo.

Keith, who raises funds from his base in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and recently returned from Zimbabwe, told reporter Ndimyake Mwakalyelye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that he has been humbled and driven by his experiences there.
