What's In A Name? Zimbabwe's Two Caps Teams Seek Bragging Rights

The Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League’s 2007 season gets under way this weekend with a match between the Caps United and Caps football clubs, currently embroiled in a legal dispute over use of the name Caps - sometimes rendered as CAPS.

This will be the first time the two teams have faced each other since Caps Holdings bought Buymore Football Club and changed its name to Caps Football Club - which aroused the ire of Caps United, of which Caps Holdings used to be the owner.

The teams are in court over the Caps name. Caps United refuses to relinquish it and Caps Football Club says it intends to keep using it to promote the drugs brand.

Reporter Marvellous Mhlanga Nyahuye asked ex-Dynamos player David Kutyauripo, who joined Caps United late last year, for his thoughts on the big match.
