Zimbabwe soccer created a disturbance at Harare's Rufaro Stadium Wednesday with many without tickets pushing through gates to see the country's under 23 team draw 1- 1 against former gold medalist Cameroon in a 2008 Olympic Games qualifier.
Zimbabwe went into the match the underdog but held Cameroon to a draw. Cameroon scored one goal in the first half of the game and Zimbabwe equalized in the second half with barely fifteen minutes left to the final whistle.
Sports commentator Michael Kariati described the disorder at the gates and the game inside to reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe.
