The coach of Zimbabwe’s under-23 national soccer team is asking the Zimbabwe Football Association to approve a two-week training camp for his team ahead of an All-Africa qualifier against Mozambique set for Dec. 17 in Harare.
The request follows poor performances by national teams on the road which fans and commentators have blamed on poor preparation by ZIFA. Zimbabwe's under-17 team lost to South Africa 5-1 recently following an overland trip plagued by difficulties.
