The commander of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces General Constantine Chiwengwa says the country’s security forces won’t stand and look while protesters said to be used by former colonial masters to effect regime change through “abusing” social media. What do Zimbabweans say about these remarks? Are Zimbabweans abusing social media?

Some youth believed to be suspected Zanu PF supporters have invaded a farm owned by the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association’s secretary-general Victor Matemadanda, who was recently arrested for being part of a group of former freedom fighters that wrote a scathing communique after a meeting in Harare claiming that President Robert Mugabe is to blame for Zimbabwe’s current social, economic and political problems.

We will give you an update on attempts to block Zimbabwe’s borders in neighboring countries in order to force the government to scrap a law banning the importation of some imports.

And we will also focus on the Olympics Games in Brazil where Team Zimbabwe is facing an uphill task in getting medals.
