Africa Mourns Congolese Rumba Legend Papa Wemba
Congolese rumba music legend Papa Wemba died after collapsing on stage in the Ivory Coast, early Sunday morning. The 67-year old singer, known in the DRC as the King of Rumba Rock, was performing at the FEMUA 2016 festival when he collapsed on stage. He died en route to the hospital. (Reuters)
