MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai tries to justify why he missed Tamsanqa Mahlangu’s funeral at the weekend. He has been taking flak for boycotting the burial of his deputy organizing secretary and Nkulumane lawmaker. The MDC leader also says he will be investigating reports that MDC-T youths fought at the funeral.

Health ministry officials and civil society organizations say the government should increase funding for the health sector. The country faces imminent disaster if donors, who are currently providing more than 80 percent of the funds required to run health care, pull out.

And Blessing Zulu speaks with Nigel Chanakira on the current state of the economy, including the Dangote deals following reports that the Nigerian businessman was pulling out of possible deals.
